Jessica W. Barnes is a licensed attorney and dynamic executive with over a decade of experience leading transformative initiatives across healthcare, aviation, and corporate operations. With dual degrees in law and business, Jessica brings a unique blend of legal expertise, operational strategy, and customer experience leadership to every endeavor she undertakes.

Jessica most recently served as Director of Operations Design at DaVita, where she spearheaded the redesign of critical operational roles, applying human-centered design to enhance efficiency and leadership capability. Her innovative solutions delivered measurable gains, including a 15% increase in weekly capacity for key roles like Facility Administrators.

Prior to that role, as National Director of Customer Experience at AirMethods, Jessica built and scaled the organization’s customer experience platform, launched nationwide Salesforce enhancements, and led high-impact technology rollouts. Her leadership in integrating ground transportation and launching 24/7 feedback loops revolutionized the company’s service model and set a new standard for patient care and operational agility.

Jessica also held multiple senior roles at Norton Healthcare, where she led over 300 strategic initiatives, including the development of COVID testing and vaccine programs, the launch of Kentucky’s first virtual hospital, and the creation of innovative specialty clinics. Her projects have generated millions in new revenue, improved care delivery models, and earned national recognition.

Beyond her corporate achievements, Jessica is a dedicated educator and community advocate. She has served as an adjunct professor in business and employment law, managed a law student startup team through a global competition, and continues to lead community outreach through Vertical Church and volunteer initiatives with Legal Aid, Habitat for Humanity, and more.

Jessica earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, a Master of Science in Business Administration from Western Kentucky University, and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Webber International University. Her decision to pursue law and business stemmed from a passion for helping organizations and individuals navigate complexity and create lasting impact.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, serving in her local church, and exploring new ways to merge creativity, leadership, and service. Whether coaching a team, leading a strategy sprint, or giving back to her community, Jessica is driven by a purpose to empower others and elevate what’s possible.
