About:

Erin Maxwell is a skilled attorney and former judge with more than 18 years of experience in the courtroom. Erin is a 2002 graduate of Oklahoma State University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. After earning her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, she began her career in indigent defense and criminal law. She was a dedicated attorney at the Oklahoma County Public Defender’s office for over 10 years before entering private practice, where she focused on trial and conflict litigation at the state, municipal, and collegiate levels throughout Oklahoma.

In 2020, Erin moved to Colorado, where she returned to indigent defense, as a Deputy State Public Defender, representing clients throughout the 7th Judicial District. Additionally, she contracted with the State of Texas, assisting clients remotely in multiple jurisdictions along the Texas and Mexico border.

Erin was also honored to serve as the Municipal Court Judge for the City of Montrose for more than two years, where she thoughtfully and compassionately presided over hundreds of cases with integrity and attention to detail.

Erin is now excited to bring her knowledge from the bench and years of litigation to the Ragab Law Firm. She is committed to helping others and is a fierce advocate for the accused. Erin is an avid hiker, swimmer, surfer, and dog-lover. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching scary movies, exploring the west coast of Puerto Rico, and listening to live music.
